This is for those of us who have had their world collapse after the untimely death of their child or family member friend ect.
Especialy if your child had special needs/disabilities.
Sadly may people seem to believe that when you lose someone with special needs/disabilities then it is a blessing and that some how your burdens as they see it are lifted and there for you shouldnt be grieving as you have been released from the ties of caring and have been given the freedom to have "A NORMAL LIFE AGAIN".
As well meaning as they may be they have no idea of the truely devistaing effect losing a child with or without special needs has on them.Hopefully this group and its members can open up our hearts to each other and share experiances and offer the love and support that is so desperatly needed but not provided by the "normal" stream in our society. |
