My 11year old child kneed me in my stomach after I was holding his hands up because in the past he has kicked me or hit me. Yes who lets it get this far i know.
He was given the silent treatment from about 6pm till the next morning. HIs computer access, iPod were confiscated by me. He was upset because this has never happened for longer than 15 minutes.  this was Monday, on friday after coming back form his Grandmothers house, he decided to tell the school and school police that he was afraid to come home because of what happened Monday, mind you this was FRIDAY. Police got to the bottom that he was mad and didn't want to loose any more stuff. Police told him parents have the right to take anything away and I was adviced that as a parent as long as a child has shelter, food, the necessities we are good.
I just could not imagine a child telling such lies to the school to get me in trouble. when I did get him from school his first question was "when will i get my stuff"
